Temperament Evaluation

Dogs participating in daycare or boarding must complete and pass a temperament evaluation before joining group play.

The evaluation typically takes approximately four hours and allows our team to observe how your dog interacts with other dogs and our staff.

Before the evaluation, BarkZone must have current vaccination records on file.

Getting Started

New customers should begin by completing the BarkZone New Client Application.

Once we receive your application, a member of our team will contact you, typically within one business day, to discuss next steps and schedule your dog's temperament evaluation.

Safety & Behavior

The safety of every dog and team member comes first.

If a dog displays aggressive, unsafe, or disruptive behavior during daycare or boarding, BarkZone may temporarily remove the dog from group play and provide separate accommodations for the remainder of the visit.

Because staffing and accommodations are still provided, removing a dog from group play does not result in a reduction in the scheduled service price.

BarkZone may also determine that group daycare or boarding is no longer appropriate for a dog if safety concerns continue.

Discounts & Promotions

Discounts, promotions, and coupons cannot be combined unless specifically stated otherwise.

If more than one discount applies, BarkZone will apply the single eligible discount that provides the greatest savings.

Pickup, Drop-Off & Late Fees

Customers should follow the pickup and drop-off times published for their BarkZone location and scheduled service.

Late or after-hours pickup and drop-off may be subject to an additional fee. Please refer to your location page or reservation information for current hours and fees.
