The staff members were super kind and communicative. They treated Smokey very warmly which really put my mind at ease. Smoke dog had the time of his life getting to play with other dogs in this environment. We will definitely be back!

Bring my dog Murphy here to have his nails clip & Alex is so wonderful & get them clipped perfectly & is so fast. Alex is our person….thank you Alex. We also do self wash & Murphys good with that just no dryer…not his thing at all. Bark Zones the best!!!!’

Will lose your dog and not tell anyone! Would NOT recommend. I just found a dog that they regularly watch today. The dog was missing for AT LEAST 5 hours and they were more concerned with covering their you know what and sparing their reputation than actually finding the dog. They did send people out looking for it but didn’t post on FB, Nextdoor, Craigslist, or anything! They also take their collars off while at daycare so they knew there was 0 way for someone who found the dog to contact it’s owner. I had time to chase the dog for 2 hours, take it to the vet to see if there was a microchip, feed it a full meal and let it take a nap, and eventually meet up with the owner (that I found through the microchip registry). Meanwhile during that time, BarkZone made no effort to post anywhere that the dog was missing so that people could keep an eye out or return it. If you love your dog and want the people watching it to treat it like it’s their own, even in a case of emergency, I would look elsewhere.

This is the BEST place ever to bring your dog. We've been taking our Australian cattle dog here for years and have always seen Winston enjoying himself on the doggie cam and when we drop him off and the staff see him they almost always recognize him and greet him with his name and a doggie pat pat on the head. He leaves us gleefully each time, tail wagging as he follows the staff into the inner sanctuary. The staff is just amazing. Haven't met a grumpy member of the team yet- and we've been coming here for years. A true find, for sure!

The groomers are good, but the front office person questions if you have any concerns about pricing. Offputting.

My dog is consistently spoiled and extremely well cared for at Barkzone. I couldn't be more grateful to have a safe space to drop my pup. Not only are the staff reliable and friendly, but they all go above and beyond to make sure our family is cared for.

My cowboy corgi, Ivy Mae, is almost 3yrs old. She has been a regular at the Montavilla BarkZone for the last 2 years. I drop her off approx 8am and pick her up at 4:00 pm, 1-2 x a week. All I have to say is “wanna go to Barkzone?” and she can barely wait to get together with her extended family of staff and other “kids” spending time there. She LOVES BZ and the staff has been exceptionally kind & supportive & because of that, Ivy is people and dog socialized. I’m so glad to have found my way to Barkzone, Maddie and her EXCELLENT staff. Thanks BZ! (She’s the one in the middle of the room on her back)

Everyone at Barkzone are so incredibly kind and our dog LOVES going there! He is spent at the end of the day and we are always confident he had a great day under their care. Hours are super convenient for us too!👏🏼👏🏼

Myra is fantastic. We used to take our dog Dexter there RIP. There is simply no better groomer in Portland or beyond.

They’re always so good about making my dog look perfect. I can always get an appointment and my dog doesn’t mind going in so that’s a good sign! Highly recommend these folks!
