I like to use this place for self wash during the winter months or after camping/beach trips. The self wash areas are NOT cleaned after every use; each stall I went to had not been cleaned and had to remove dog hair from the previous pup. The front desk staff is rude, not approachable and seem annoyed when you ask questions.

My dog loves it here. He typically does two days during the work week to break up the week. He's usually pretty chill the days following his visits after playing all day. I appreciate that I can check in via the cameras and see him playing and having fun with the friends he has made. We haven't done summer days yet and I have not been able to watch them play outside, so I'm reserving a star. Overall, it's a nice option to have. I appreciate they do the temperament tests and seem to keep a pretty good eye on the dynamics with the dogs present. Would recommend.

My Golden Retriever had a great experience at BarkZone for his spa day! He was greeted by delightful staff members (he did have an appointment) for his bath, nail trim and blowout. He looked ready for the show ring when he emerged 2 hours later. Highly recommended!

The front office is amazing, extremely kind and accommodating. Great that you can watch the dogs on the webcam. They know each dog well!

This is the BEST place ever to bring your dog. We've been taking our Australian cattle dog here for years and have always seen Winston enjoying himself on the doggie cam and when we drop him off and the staff see him they almost always recognize him and greet him with his name and a doggie pat pat on the head. He leaves us gleefully each time, tail wagging as he follows the staff into the inner sanctuary. The staff is just amazing. Haven't met a grumpy member of the team yet- and we've been coming here for years. A true find, for sure!

The groomers are good, but the front office person questions if you have any concerns about pricing. Offputting.

My dog is consistently spoiled and extremely well cared for at Barkzone. I couldn't be more grateful to have a safe space to drop my pup. Not only are the staff reliable and friendly, but they all go above and beyond to make sure our family is cared for.

My cowboy corgi, Ivy Mae, is almost 3yrs old. She has been a regular at the Montavilla BarkZone for the last 2 years. I drop her off approx 8am and pick her up at 4:00 pm, 1-2 x a week. All I have to say is “wanna go to Barkzone?” and she can barely wait to get together with her extended family of staff and other “kids” spending time there. She LOVES BZ and the staff has been exceptionally kind & supportive & because of that, Ivy is people and dog socialized. I’m so glad to have found my way to Barkzone, Maddie and her EXCELLENT staff. Thanks BZ! (She’s the one in the middle of the room on her back)

Everyone at Barkzone are so incredibly kind and our dog LOVES going there! He is spent at the end of the day and we are always confident he had a great day under their care. Hours are super convenient for us too!👏🏼👏🏼

Hard to get a hold of but my dogs love them and they do a great job!

Myra is fantastic. We used to take our dog Dexter there RIP. There is simply no better groomer in Portland or beyond.

They’re always so good about making my dog look perfect. I can always get an appointment and my dog doesn’t mind going in so that’s a good sign! Highly recommend these folks!
