This is the BEST place ever to bring your dog. We've been taking our Australian cattle dog here for years and have always seen Winston enjoying himself on the doggie cam and when we drop him off and the staff see him they almost always recognize him and greet him with his name and a doggie pat pat on the head. He leaves us gleefully each time, tail wagging as he follows the staff into the inner sanctuary. The staff is just amazing. Haven't met a grumpy member of the team yet- and we've been coming here for years. A true find, for sure!

Ever since I found this place for dog grooming, I've never changed my dog's groomer. 100% satisfied!

We have used Barkzone for over 6 years, first at Hillsboro and then at Bethany. Koto can't wait to walk through the front door. Ryan has been the only groomer we have ever used and he is amazingly 👏 We have boarded Koto many times and never have encountered any issues. We can watch on the Webcam and see that everyone who works there loves their job and treats all the furbabies as though they were their own. Between Koto and my granddog Lance we are thrilled to have such a loving environment to entrust our pets to. We have never encountered any person there who is not friendly yet professional. Thank you for providing that.

Yeah, it’s crazy. I wouldn’t take my dog there either. I took him there,when I pick him up.He was wet and I could tell something was wrong with him. I asked them what happened they said nothing. I said why is he wet.They said they just cleaned him. I Walked out. I tried to get him to react like normal. Then I started rubbing him and found bite marks on his neck. I went back in and confronted them. They said nothing happened. And then one of the employees told me. Oh yeah he got bit, but it wasn’t that hard. I took him to the vet. They said he had puncture wound on his neck. It’s just amazing how they would try to hide , any other spot you would think they would normally notify you. I was so mad. It’s taking me a couple years to write this. But every time I see the name, Bark zone it just infuriates me.

I do not recommend this place. I was accused once before of “free lancing” because I brought a client dog here (I am a dog trainer, NOT a dog groomer) because I needed to give them a medicated bath. Apparently my photo was taken or something to put on their wall so that their staff knew to not welcome me back to wash dogs. So today I brought my own personal dogs in because I needed to bathe them. It wasn’t until I was done with my first dog and was bringing in my second dog that I was informed that I wasn’t allowed to “freelance” in their establishment despite having my own personal dogs to bring with me. So I had to pay for one two & leave with my other 2 dogs unbathed. There is no specification anywhere about what they consider “free lancing”. If they don’t want other non groomer professionals coming to utilize their facility, they should make that abundantly clear on their website & in their facility. I will not be recommending this place to any of my own clients, friends or other professionals in the area.

Nice space with everything I needed and friendly staff. I've only gone once, but now that I know about it, I'll probably fill my punch card quickly.

My dog is consistently spoiled and extremely well cared for at Barkzone. I couldn't be more grateful to have a safe space to drop my pup. Not only are the staff reliable and friendly, but they all go above and beyond to make sure our family is cared for.

My cowboy corgi, Ivy Mae, is almost 3yrs old. She has been a regular at the Montavilla BarkZone for the last 2 years. I drop her off approx 8am and pick her up at 4:00 pm, 1-2 x a week. All I have to say is “wanna go to Barkzone?” and she can barely wait to get together with her extended family of staff and other “kids” spending time there. She LOVES BZ and the staff has been exceptionally kind & supportive & because of that, Ivy is people and dog socialized. I’m so glad to have found my way to Barkzone, Maddie and her EXCELLENT staff. Thanks BZ! (She’s the one in the middle of the room on her back)

Everyone at Barkzone are so incredibly kind and our dog LOVES going there! He is spent at the end of the day and we are always confident he had a great day under their care. Hours are super convenient for us too!👏🏼👏🏼

Hard to get a hold of but my dogs love them and they do a great job!

Myra is fantastic. We used to take our dog Dexter there RIP. There is simply no better groomer in Portland or beyond.

They’re always so good about making my dog look perfect. I can always get an appointment and my dog doesn’t mind going in so that’s a good sign! Highly recommend these folks!
