The staff at Barkzone montavilla is friendly and accommodating. I have boarded my dog here a few times and they always take great care of him. It is super convenient to have their services available even at short notice. I highly recommend them.

I was told by a friend about barkzone and I am so glad I was!!! We have a nearly 12 year old basset with some back hip issues and the stairs to the tubs are great! The shampoo assortment was awesome and even though we thought it was a little thin, after shaking it, we realized it was perfect! Linc now looks so dapper and smells like, well not his houndy self (if you have hounds, you know!)!

I was washing one of our dogs in the self-wash area and looked over to the salon and there was a male groomer with a buzz cut being really mean to a dog in his care. It was a golden retriever and he was pushing and pulling the dog really hard on the ground and he seemed really angry at the dog and none of the other employees seemed to notice or care!! We are NEVER coming back

This is the BEST place ever to bring your dog. We've been taking our Australian cattle dog here for years and have always seen Winston enjoying himself on the doggie cam and when we drop him off and the staff see him they almost always recognize him and greet him with his name and a doggie pat pat on the head. He leaves us gleefully each time, tail wagging as he follows the staff into the inner sanctuary. The staff is just amazing. Haven't met a grumpy member of the team yet- and we've been coming here for years. A true find, for sure!

The groomers are good, but the front office person questions if you have any concerns about pricing. Offputting.

Barkzone was so good with my little mini Schnauzer as she was a little timid being new kid on the block. The staff was sensitive and attentive to her care and were patient with her need to ease into the scene. I love being able to see her on the web cams, and anytime I had a question they are quick to respond!!! Plus, she got a wonderfully grooming from Sergio (mobile groomer) Thank you Barkzone!!!🐾🐾

I am so thrilled with BarkZone! I don’t normally do reviews, but they are just so amazing that I have to give them a shout out. My dog loves going there! The things I appreciate most about them are the drop-in availability (so convenient!!), ability to board my dog at the same place he goes for day services, the extra services like grooming or add-ons (brushing and treats for example) during boarding, being able to occasionally spy on him when I’m missing him via the live cameras on the website, and the friendly staff! I am so appreciate of your business model and services. My dog always comes home happy (and tired) when he spends time at BarkZone Thank you for being a place my sweet pup loves to go!

Our princess Romy is almost 3 years old, and has been a regular at Barkzone Montavilla for the past 2 years. She is all tail wags when we drop her off at BZ. The team always welcomes her with love and care and it’s clear my girl loves to be there. At pickup, we enjoy hearing about the new friends made that day. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that we have a place to take our baby girl and know that she will be in such great hands. We highly recommend Barkzone Montavilla to anyone looking for a top notch doggie day care!

Hard to get a hold of but my dogs love them and they do a great job!

Myra is fantastic. We used to take our dog Dexter there RIP. There is simply no better groomer in Portland or beyond.

They’re always so good about making my dog look perfect. I can always get an appointment and my dog doesn’t mind going in so that’s a good sign! Highly recommend these folks!
