We recently rescued an adorable golden retriever who is a bit nervous & skittish. He had never been professionally groomed before so our dear Alex had her hands full. In her true professional fashion she groomed him with tender loving care & the 2d time he went was great - he went right with her. Thank yiu Alex for always taking such great care of our fur babies. You are the best!

Barkzone was so good with my little mini Schnauzer as she was a little timid being new kid on the block. The staff was sensitive and attentive to her care and were patient with her need to ease into the scene. I love being able to see her on the web cams, and anytime I had a question they are quick to respond!!! Plus, she got a wonderfully grooming from Sergio (mobile groomer) Thank you Barkzone!!!🐾🐾

I’m beyond frustrated with the service at this place. The front desk staff is completely unprofessional, and my experience with the groomer was unacceptable. While trying to trim my corgi’s nails, the groomer accidentally shaved a patch of hair off his back. If it had been any deeper, my dog could have been seriously hurt. To make matters worse, the groomer only left a voice message to inform us about the accident. The front desk staff was unapologetic, repeatedly insisting that a $10 discount was sufficient because it’s just a patch of hair that will grow back. I can’t imagine they’d feel the same way if they went for a manicure and ended up with a bald spot—they’d be outraged! They need to seriously reassess their techniques and figure out how to avoid these accidents in the future. This was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Update: The owner reached out to discuss the issues we had with the front desk and the groomer that day. He was understanding and offered us a voucher for a free grooming in the future. We appreciate his attitude and the fact that he values customer satisfaction. We might consider coming back once our dog's fur grows back more.

I am so thrilled with BarkZone! I don’t normally do reviews, but they are just so amazing that I have to give them a shout out. My dog loves going there! The things I appreciate most about them are the drop-in availability (so convenient!!), ability to board my dog at the same place he goes for day services, the extra services like grooming or add-ons (brushing and treats for example) during boarding, being able to occasionally spy on him when I’m missing him via the live cameras on the website, and the friendly staff! I am so appreciate of your business model and services. My dog always comes home happy (and tired) when he spends time at BarkZone Thank you for being a place my sweet pup loves to go!

This is the BEST place ever to bring your dog. We've been taking our Australian cattle dog here for years and have always seen Winston enjoying himself on the doggie cam and when we drop him off and the staff see him they almost always recognize him and greet him with his name and a doggie pat pat on the head. He leaves us gleefully each time, tail wagging as he follows the staff into the inner sanctuary. The staff is just amazing. Haven't met a grumpy member of the team yet- and we've been coming here for years. A true find, for sure!

The groomers are good, but the front office person questions if you have any concerns about pricing. Offputting.

BarkZone is a great place to take your fur child for the day or for boarding! We’ve been using their services for many years now and couldn’t be happier with the friendly staff and accommodations. Highly recommend BarkZone, Acer LOVES going there!!

Teyah loves Barkzone and I love how they take care of her and love her. I also love the fact I can also watch her playing with all her doggie friends. I would recommend Barkzone 100%, they are the best!

This place is great! My dog comes home tired and happy after every visit. It's nice (and very entertaining) to see what he's up to throughout the day on the webcams.

BarkZone has dramatically improved. Our dogs were regulars several years ago but we stopped taking them due to their care and customer service. Apparently they are under new management and things have gotten a lot better. Great communication, fair pricing and convenience. Would recommend for anyone

My 65 lb goldendoodle can get really nervous during grooming, but he has always come out of BarkZone looking (and smelling) like he had the BEST time. So appreciate their care and attention to his needs!

Hard to get a hold of but my dogs love them and they do a great job!

Myra is fantastic. We used to take our dog Dexter there RIP. There is simply no better groomer in Portland or beyond.

They’re always so good about making my dog look perfect. I can always get an appointment and my dog doesn’t mind going in so that’s a good sign! Highly recommend these folks!
